- Glue
- Pieces of Cardboards for preparing rocket fins
- Model rocket engine
- A tube
If you are planning for a large rocket, you have to opt for a large tube. A large sized rocket can decrease maximum altitude but it can increase stability of your rocket substantially. Furthermore, larger rockets also need larger fins. After cutting a tube to the required length, you have to clean its ends with much care. After that, you have to prepare the fins of your rocket. Cardboard can be used for this purpose as it is strong and at the same time thin. Fins should be one third of the total length of the rocket.
Apply glue on the fins for attaching them with the body section of your rocket. After that, insert the rocket engine in rocket’s bottom section. A nose cone should be placed at the top of the rocket. Now, your rocket is ready for launch.
