Ensuring Model Rocket Safety

Launching a model rocket is undoubtedly a fulfilled activity that you would certainly like to enjoy.


This is also an educational activity that can teach you a lot of things about how the entire thing works. However, you need to take some precautions before launching a model rocket. Here are the steps that you should always follow at any cost:
  • First find a location, which is not densely populated.
  • Make sure there are no trees, obstructions, and power lines in and around the location.
  • Put your safety cap before you begin to launch a rocket.
  • The launch pad should be located at the center of the field.
  • Use only government recommended rocket engine, which will help you to avoid any untoward incidents.
  • Use plug with the rocket nozzle.
  • Ignitor should be placed in Rocket’s nozzle.
  • Before ignition start, you have to remove the launch rod safety cap.
  • Keep the spectators away from the launching pad as far as possible.
  • You should not approach the rocket if it does not start instantaneously with the pressing of the button. Wait at least 60 seconds.
